Love, tenderness and the first rules
Even though there are no babies in this class—many two-year-olds can already focus and communicate verbally—everything is still new for them as they navigate different situations and emotions. Joy and frustration, acceptance and rejection, love and their first big heartbreaks. We guide our little explorers, comfort them, and support them through all their discoveries while gradually introducing them to structure and routines—like a set schedule, a daily program, or simply learning to eat in a calm environment.
By the end of the school year, they understand how to behave, manage basic emotions, and are well-prepared for a higher level of socialization and structured learning. We observe how they interact within the group, handle conflicts, and respond to authority. Step by step, we help them become aware of their surroundings, respect others’ opinions, and form their first friendships.
When children are not focused on individual activities, we gather them in a circle for creative, musical, or movement-based lessons. One of our biggest advantages is our staff capacity—we always have an above-standard number of teachers and assistants for the number of children. This allows us to engage some children in group activities while providing individual attention to others.
We work with children in time blocks suited to their attention span. We introduce them to their first rhymes and dances to develop motor skills, train memory and logical thinking through games, and teach focus and patience during group work. Parents receive daily updates from teachers and through our kindergarten app, which serves as a communication tool.
Compared to children who join Malvína at a later age, we have observed that graduates of our youngest class transition to the next level much more smoothly. The rules, social habits, and emotional skills they develop at this stage greatly benefit them in their future learning and life.
Elective services
Malvína values close cooperation with parents. It helps children progress by leaps and bounds. Therefore, in addition to a written report and a discussion upon pickup from the preschool, we also organize joint creative workshops for children and their parents.
A Sleep coach is available to help you make a sleep plan and advise you on how to sleep harmoniously. We consult the motor development of children with a physiotherapist, the educational specifics with a special pedagogue. You can find out more about individual staffers in the Our Team section.
